Alexis understands the millennial experience and is adept at assisting younger populations with navigating the many challenges and transitions of life.

Having worked with individuals from various ages, racial and ethnic backgrounds, faiths, gender identities, and socioeconomic statuses, Alexis observed the many barriers that exist in mental healthcare access for some populations. She created The Zen Den Counseling and Wellness with hopes of increasing access to a space of serenity and healing for young people.

Alexis provides both trauma informed and culturally sensitive and informed treatment and is an LGBTQIA+ ally. She believes that no one's life story should have to end with emotional pain and suffering and that to be healthy as a whole, mental wellness plays a role. With the proper tools and support, Alexis is confident that all clients can own and shape their narrative, add meaningful chapters, and craft their desired ending. She holds high regard for the mental healthcare profession and for the role she plays in all of her clients' lives as they work to heal and achieve a greater sense of wellbeing.
